Thankful for the Lessons and Blessings
Never Say Never!
Thank you Asia! It is my HAPPY and SPIRITUAL place! Every time I visit you, whether it’s Indonesia or the Philippines, which both bring me joy, I upgrade my consciousness about what I believe its truly possible.
2025 is teaching me another valuable lesson: never say never, and shut the hell up about it! The things I swore I'd never do—or do again—have been piling up, and I’ve moved so far out of my comfort zone that the person I thought I was no longer exists. Here’s what I’ve done so far:
I sang in front of people—for fun!
No stage, no performance pressure, just pure joy. Who even am I?I got a tattoo.
Yes, I said never. Granted, it’s semi-permanent and will need some maintenance in two years, but it’s still ink on skin—a promise I never thought I’d break.I ate lamb.
Me. The aspiring vegetarian. Maybe it’s just the meat in Asia, but I don’t see this happening in America. Still, I shocked myself.I taught a boatload of international folks the Electric Slide.
Picture this: a moving boat, no injuries, and a whole lot of laughter. You’re welcome.I went parasailing.
Heights terrify me, but knowing water would break my fall gave me the courage. Plus, I swim like a mermaid, so there’s that.
So, what’s the moral of this story? Stop limiting yourself with “I can’t,” “I won’t,” or “I don’t.” Step outside your comfort zone, say yes a little more often, and have some fun. You might just surprise yourself.
